Because we believe that God designed us to live life together in the context of community we want to offer lots of ways for you to be able to connect with a fun, vibrant, active, transformational community whether that be gender specific in Men’s and Women’s ministries, life stage focused like College Group or Young & Married or an inter-generational Life Group or Bible study; we hope you find a place where you can belong and be a part of the RCC community.

Our Men’s Ministry at RCC is all about creating space for men to grow in faith and build meaningful connections. Through opportunities like our Live to Bless discipleship groups, Solid Ground gatherings, and events such as our annual Golf Tournament, men come together to share their stories, encourage one another, and navigate life’s challenges side by side. We believe spiritual growth happens best in community—where men can be known, challenged, and supported as they follow Jesus.

YOUNG ADULTS & COLLEGE

Our young adults ministry at RCC serves to encourage and strengthen young adults in college up to about 26 years old. We meet every Tuesday at 7:00pm in the top room of the student building (outside staircase) to spend a brief time all together, then split off into life groups to dive deeper into the text from Sunday. Join us to get connected with other young adults in the church and grow in the Lord together!

DO LIFE TOGETHER

RCC LIFE GROUPS

Life Groups at RCC are focused on exactly that - LIFE.  Together, we dig into God’s word, share, pray, laugh, and encourage one another on a weekly basis. We believe these groups are the most natural expression of God’s design - to find our ultimate joy in Him and to do it alongside others.  

RCC EQUIP

RCC Equip offers periodic, in-depth studies on academic and theological topics, designed to deepen your understanding of Scripture and equip you to engage confidently in conversations about your faith. Equipping our church family for discipleship is central to our mission at RCC, and these studies are one of the ways we invest in that growth. Whether you're new to deeper study or looking to sharpen your understanding, RCC Equip offers a place to grow.

Throughout the week, RCC members gather in small groups to study together, ask questions, and grow in faith alongside one another. These studies are led by fellow members of our church family, with new groups starting up throughout the year, so there's always a good time to jump in.

MEET JONNY

PASTOR OF ADULTS

Jonny Burns may be the only pastor in town who doesn’t drink coffee...but he does play golf (and baseball) so that covers part of the basic requirements for being a pastor. Most importantly, halfway through his work toward a degree in education at Biola University, Jonny discovered his two main passions in life: God’s Word and people. These two passions drove him straight into seminary, where he received his Masters Degree from Talbot. After spending several years connecting with middle school and high school aged students through his roles at Forest Home, coaching baseball, and at RCC, Jonny is excited to support all life stages as they walk with God. But even above helping others, Jonny especially enjoys passionately pursuing his life in Christ and experiencing Him with his wife as a team.

Jonny earned his B.A. in Biblical and Theological Studies from Biola University and his Master’s in Preaching and Pastoral Ministry from Talbot School of Theology.
