As believers, we exist to gladly express the grand scale of who God is in all we do.  Seeing God as He has revealed Himself in His word and learning to live in light of that truth is central to everything we do here at RCC. Our lives are shaped by three main relationships: Our relationship with God, other believers, and those yet to believe.  It is the picture of what we believe marks the abundant Christian life. Worship as a community encourages us to continue to draw closer in our relationship with God and enjoy doing it with other believers.

RCC Student Ministries exists to help 7th–12th graders experience the peace and joy that comes from a relationship with Jesus. Everything we do is built around helping students belong in the church, believe the gospel, and become more like Christ.  We long to see their affections awakened and experience His joy more fully, and to walk with Him in a way that continues to grow and strengthen over time.

A Southern California native, early on in his life Chris had dreams of being the CEO of a Fortune 500 company.  That’s what led him to USC for undergrad and a job at Goldman Sachs out of college.  But then Jesus grabbed a hold of his heart, and Chris developed a hunger to help others find their greatest joy in Jesus.  That’s why he left behind the corporate world and entered into full-time ministry.  Nearly two decades later, Chris has passionately and prayerfully come alongside others to help them understand God’s Word and see the deep truth of it.  Alongside his wife of more than 12 years, Chris loves a good day by the pool, drinking way too much Diet Coke, and laughing with his three kids. Chris has earned his Master’s of Divinity (MDiv) and Doctorate of Ministry (DMin) from Talbot School of Theology (at Biola University).
