WELCOME TO
WORSHIP
ARTS
Our Worship Arts Team is a multi-generational, multi-genre, completely homegrown (and GMO-free) community of musicians, vocalists, and creatives who are passionate about faithfully and creatively communicating the power and beauty of Jesus. Whether through music, production, or other creative expressions, our goal is not to perform, but to serve the church by helping others encounter God in meaningful and authentic ways. We are committed to growing in our craft, character, and spiritual maturity as we use our gifts to glorify God and build up His people. No matter your age, background, or musical style, if you have a heart to worship and a desire to serve, there is a place for you here.

WORSHIP TEAM
Our Sunday Worship Team is a vibrant community of instrumentalists and vocalists from every generation, united by a shared desire to lead the church in authentic worship. One of the things we love most about our team is the way students, young adults, parents, and seasoned musicians serve side by side, each bringing their own experience, perspective, and creativity to the platform. We value originality and encourage our team members to use their unique gifts to help shape arrangements and contribute fresh ideas that reflect the heart of our church. Whether you are an experienced musician or simply have a desire to grow and serve, joining the team is approachable and accessible. We provide guidance, resources, and a supportive environment where you can develop your skills, build meaningful relationships, and use your talents to help others encounter Jesus through worship.

TECH TEAM
Our Tech Team is the behind-the-scenes crew that helps make every worship service possible. From running sound and advancing lyrics to managing cameras and livestream production, these volunteers play a vital role in creating a seamless and distraction-free environment where people can engage with God’s Word and worship with confidence. While their work often happens out of the spotlight, their contribution is absolutely essential to the life of our church.Serving on the Tech Team is a meaningful way to use your attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving skills to support ministry in a practical and impactful way. Whether you have prior experience or are completely new to audio, presentation, or video production, we provide training and a supportive team environment to help you grow. If you enjoy working behind the scenes and want to make a real difference each week, there is an important place for you on our Tech Team.

REHEARSALS
Our weekly rehearsals are more than just preparation for Sunday—they are a place where musicians and creatives can connect, grow, and be part of a supportive artistic community. Whether you are a seasoned vocalist or instrumentalist, just beginning to develop your skills, or simply curious about what it looks like to serve in worship ministry, you are welcome to join us. Rehearsals provide an opportunity to learn new songs, sharpen your craft, and build relationships with others who share a passion for music and creativity. You do not need to be scheduled to serve on a Sunday to participate. We want these gatherings to be a low-pressure environment where anyone in our church can explore their gifts, gain experience, and grow in confidence at their own pace. For some, rehearsals are the first step toward joining the Sunday Worship Team; for others, they are simply a meaningful way to be part of a creative community that encourages both artistic development and spiritual growth.

INSTRUMENTAL & VOCAL
Workshops
Even more than skill-building, these gatherings are an opportunity to receive wisdom from believers who are actively working within the broader culture and music industry. Their stories, perspective, and encouragement help bridge the gap between church ministry and everyday creative life, showing how faith and artistry can intersect in meaningful ways. Our hope is that every workshop not only sharpens ability, but also strengthens identity, calling, and purpose in those who attend.

WORKSHOPS
Our Technical Workshops are special equipping moments where we invite experienced, industry-level musicians and creatives to come alongside our church and invest in our Worship Arts community. These sessions are designed to go beyond Sunday morning participation, offering practical tools, technical skills, and creative insights that help our musicians grow in both excellence and confidence. From vocal technique and instrumentation to production, arrangement, and songwriting, these workshops provide real, hands-on learning in a collaborative environment.

SUBHEADING
CHOIR

CHOIR
Our Vocal Choir is a dynamic and welcoming expression of our Worship Arts community that comes together for special moments throughout the year, such as holidays, seasonal gatherings, and the launch or conclusion of sermon series. While it may not meet weekly, it plays a powerful role in helping lead the church in rich, layered, and impactful moments of worship that bring added depth and energy to our services. For many vocalists, the choir also serves as an accessible and encouraging entry point into Worship Arts. Whether you are experienced or just beginning to find confidence in your voice, you are invited to join us whenever you are able. Each rehearsal becomes an opportunity to grow in skill, learn from others, and contribute to something meaningful—no matter how often you’re able to participate.
MEET CHARIYA
PASTOR OF WORSHIP ARTS
CHARIYAB@richfieldcc.org
Chariya Bissonette is a hybrid plant that has now come to grow at RCC. As a teenager, she saw how bright the light of Jesus was, and since then, she always brings her passion for helping people express and receive their hope in Jesus through the arts. Her toolbox includes 25 years of broad experience in ministry, as a worship arts director, the corporate world, as a speaker and team trainer, the entertainment industry as a vocalist, writer, voice over artist, and actress, and even being a sponsored painter (by Yamaha). Beyond the traditional church building, she has shared Jesus with others as a Gang Intervention Counselor and University Instructor. And we haven’t even begun to talk about all that music history knowledge she has tucked away for “name that tune” or trivia night…
