OUR PURPOSE
STUDENTS
RCC Student Ministries exists to help 7th–12th graders experience the peace and joy that comes from a relationship with Jesus. Everything we do is built around helping students belong in the church, believe the gospel, and become more like Christ. We long to see their affections awakened and experience His joy more fully, and to walk with Him in a way that continues to grow and strengthen over time.
This season of life is full of questions, challenges, and opportunities, and we’re passionate about creating a space where students can encounter God, build lasting friendships, and be encouraged in their faith. We gather every week to connect, worship, learn, and have fun together. Whether a student is just beginning to explore faith or has been following Jesus for years, there’s a place here for them to belong, grow, and be known.

FAITH IN COMMUNITY
Jr. HIGH
During Junior High we want to establish the importance and blessing of belonging to a Christian community. We will create spaces where students can process who God says they are, where their value comes from, and how they can have an abundant life in Him. All within a joyful community where lasting friendships and meaningful memories are formed.

FOUNDATIONAL FAITH
HIGH SCHOOL
During High School we want our students to be honest about their relationship with the Lord wherever they are with Him. We want to create a community where they are encouraged to ask questions, and embrace the challenges that come with following Jesus. By helping students engage confidently with Scripture and the person of Jesus we’re seeking to create convictions that will last well beyond their time in student ministries and prepare them for a life with the Lord.

SUMMER CAMPS
Camps give students extended time away from everyday routines to focus more intentionally on God and on each other. Removed from the noise of normal life, deeper friendships form and bonds strengthen as students connect in ways that just aren't possible on a normal week. Sustained teaching, worship, and small group conversations create space to engage more deeply with their faith, and as students reflect on how God is shaping them in this season of life, they're equipped to carry that home with them.

WEDNESDAY NIGHTS
CORE GROUPS
Wednesday nights are designed to be relational — a place where students enjoy being together and experience the joy of belonging in Christian community. Shared activities and time with peers help students connect and feel genuinely known and welcomed wherever they are in their faith journey. Leaders create space for students to engage with honest questions about faith and life, and as they model what it looks like to walk with the Lord, students are equipped by seeing that lived out in front of them.

SUNDAY MORNINGS
STUDENTS SERVICE
Sunday gatherings allow students to worship together, engage with truth from God's Word, and build relationships with their leaders and peers. Worship and biblical teaching give them space to process who God is and what it looks like to follow Jesus at every stage of life. As students are encouraged and given opportunities to serve, they connect with the broader church family and are equipped to participate in its life together.

MEET JUSTIN
PASTOR OF STUDENTS
JUSTINM@RICHFIELDCC.ORG
Justin was born and raised at RCC. Although he always grew up hearing about God’s love for him it wasn’t until late into high school when he opened his Bible and discovered it for himself. Unsure of his future, Justin studied Economics at Cal State Fullerton but nothing he learned excited him as much as being in God’s word. Soon God’s love for him became something he couldn’t keep to himself. As a shy kid turned extrovert for Christ, he became convinced that no purpose is more satisfying than helping others know God and His love for them. After his wonderful wife, there is no one he is more passionate about helping grow in their relationship with the Lord than the students at RCC.
